Most of our rides take place in/around Cabbagetown (i.e. Rosedale/Bayview Ave etc.) and in the eastern areas of Toronto (i.e. Eastern Ave, Cosburn Ave etc.). We sometimes also head west (i.e High Park etc.).
Weekday morning rides are mainly in the east end and always 30-40 km in distance. Sunday rides start at about 60km early in the cycling season and get longer as the season progresses. Mid to late season Sunday rides range from 75-120 km. We also have two “Fondo” rides each season (Summer and Fall) with two distance options (120km or 160-180km).
Ride Leaders aim to add new route options each season. While ride route variety is good, our main goal is safe, easily navigated routes (below are some examples). Ride routes are subject to change and maps will always be provided in the Ride Calendar. Ride routes can also change on the fly due to unforeseen circumstances (above mentioned construction, traffic, etc.) but will not deviate greatly from the planned route.
Prior to a club ride, riders of any level are urged to familiarize themselves with the route.
All rides start and finish at Jet Fuel Coffee unless otherwise stated.
